Redtop Nova

Did anyone see the nova 2.0 in the autotrader this week. My boss brought this over from england bout a year and a half ago. Was 200bhp before this guy has fitted the 48s. An absolute animal. I even remember the reg K127 SLA. Anyone know who is sellin it?

people just dont understand a good gsi is worth 3 grand and the running gear in that thing is worth a few £££

if i had 4.5k and that is as clean as it looks i would have it tomorrow.

Iv drove that gsi and to be honest i hated it on back roads, its only meant for straight lines. I prefer the small block nova puttin out plenty of power for back roads.

If it has a good suspension set up and handles like a go-kart shouldnt be that bad on the back roads..

Only draw back with the 48's would be really sore on the juice, but the snort of the carbs... surely makes up for it!

Anything bigger than a 1.6 in these is a waste of time. they cant corner. There was a let corsa in the town when i had my 16 sport with around 2k spent on the engine and suspension and i showed him up for a wee 1.6. he was quicker to 80 but i was pushing him at 135 and i could leave him sitting on the corners

Them 1.6 Sports are quick cormac like my old R reg one was lethal quick was actually quicker than my current one or my old Gsi corsa. Change the inlet, cams, pullys, exhaust, induction kit, head done there deadly quick.
